June Carver Roberts
June Carver Roberts grew up in New England, where she spent all her spare time exploring, drawing, and painting the out-of-doors. Since 1953 she has been living in Athens, Ohio. Mrs. Roberts received a B.F.A. from Ohio University. She has won many awards, including the John Marin Award, for some of her drawings and watercolors, has exhibited her work in several states and has held a number of shows. Many of her works are in private collections, and some of her watercolors are in the permanent collections of the Butler Art Institute, the Akron Art Institute, and the Huntington Galleries.
